Language class is one program Also-Known-As offers to our members out of our commitment to providing education about our birth culture. Our Language courses are intended to encourage adoptees and adoptive families as well as anyone else in the community to learn the language of their birth culture in a low key and inexpensive setting.

Currently we offer a Korean language course for beginners and intermediate speakers. Our books and course material are especially tailored to non-native speakers and adoptees with the purpose of educating the individual not only in the language but traditions, culture and history of their birth culture. Previous classes have gone on field trips to Flushing, Queens to learn about traditional Korean foods, and dinners with native Korean speakers.
